Twelve organizations that we support with ongoing efforts.

 

 

Project 1 : Transit

St. Petersburg, Russia

Helps place runaway homeless kids and teens in loving homes.

 

Our focus

The introduction of a summer outdoor camping program for children in transition.

Project 2 : New Hope Foundation

Beijing, China

Caring for abandoned special-needs babies and children with medical challenges such as cleft palate, clubfeet and bladder disorders.

 

Our focus

  1. The provision of funding for cleft pallet operations and heart surgeries.
  2. the provision of supplies to run the orphanage such as diapers, baby formula and medications.

Project 3 : Special Education Center of Region 12

Sattahip, Thailand

Houses children with Down Syndrome and Autism at a day school and live-in orphanage.

 

A special needs orphanage for children. Located in a remote area of Thailand, the Special Education Center not only provides the resources necessary for healthy growth and education to the children that live there, but also provides a day program for local special needs children.

 

Our focus

  1. The provision of necessary resources to help run the orphanage for special needs children.
  2. The purchase of supplies to aid in construction of an additional building to house children in a less crowded environment with increased safety.

Project 4 : Gu Chu Sum (Tibetan English School)

McLeod Ganj, India

Teaches English to Tibetan refugees.

 

Our focus

  1. The provision of items to provide cleaner and more hygienic sleeping quarters.
  2. Supplying computers and equipment for their learning center.

Project 5 : Sunzu Village Project

Mwiko, Rwanda

A project to support the needs of those living in the village of Mwiko.

 

Our focus

  1. Our project includes building a lending library, a community center and playground.

Kigali, Rwanda

A program offering medical and social services for kids living with HIV / AIDS. The program includes confidential testing, nutritional support and support activities.

 

Our focus

  1. The creation and implementation of workshop for children with HIV/AIDS.
  2. The provision of a nutrition program for kids living with HIV/AIDS

Project 7 : Creative Solutions Arts School

Zanzibar, Tanzania

A village school supporting the local community of Mangapwani, Zanzibar.

 

Our focus

The building of a pre-school and computer lab.

Project 8 : Nyumbani HIV Clinic

Nairobi, Kenya

This organization offers medical care and psycho-social care to all it serves.

 

Our focus

  1. Helping to rebuild clinic.
  2. Creation and implementation of a stage 3 AIDS drug program.

Project 9 : Refugio De Monos

La Cumbre, Argentina

This howler monkey refuge is the first and only center for the rehabilitation of primates in Argentina. The program consists of various stages of physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation. Teaching monkeys to be monkeys again.

 

Our focus

  1. Refurbishment of volunteer quarters to improve living conditions.
  2. Funding for supplies to assist in the construction of an additional primate enclosure.

Project 10 : Casa De Milagro

La May, Peru

A home caring for twenty three orphaned and abandoned children. Casa de Milagro serves to nourish children's minds, bodies, and spirits while instilling in them a sense of self-esteem and self-worth.

 

Our focus

  1. Continuation of funding for a community swimming activity for children.
  2. The donation of funds to defray overhead costs of relocation from original home.

Project 11 : Foyers Maurice Sixto

Port Au Prince, Haiti

A school and after school program created to serve restavek children. (Children living in domestic servitude). They offer programs in music, theater, dance, and soccer.

 

Our focus

  1. The provision of athletic equipment for their sports program.
  2. The provision of art supplies for their arts program.
  3. The funding for salaries to keep teachers employed year round at the school.

Project 12 : Operation Upward

Jackson, Mississippi

An after school program for children that provides art programs, sports programs, and a food program to children that attend. Operation Upward is dedicated to empowering the spiritual, educational, health, and vocational development of youth and their families.

 

Our focus

  1. The funding to renovate the building, starting with a dance studio.
  2. The funding for continued after-school and nutritional programs.
